Social Media Community Manager - Job Summary
The Social Media Community Manager is responsible for managing daily social media scheduling, messaging, monitoring, and content creation across multiple platforms to align with brand strategies and increase engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day scheduling, messaging, and monitoring for assigned brands and social channels.
- Collaborate with brand management, graphics, producers, and influencer managers to craft organic social content.
- Capture and create social media content including basic social editing.
- Craft compelling copy aligned with brand persona to encourage engagement.
- Create and manage social content calendars supporting marketing and brand calendars.
- Ensure content aligns with brand tone, voice, and visual guidelines across platforms.
- Use social listening tools to incorporate brand into trending industry conversations.
- Produce monthly reports on social content performance and brand sentiment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, digital communications, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience managing social media platforms and content (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok).
- Strong understanding of brand voice and tone, especially for the X platform.
- Demonstrated success in digital or social media strategy and content engagement.
- Experience collaborating with Brand Management and Digital teams.
- Experience in planning, managing, executing, and reporting on social platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently on projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, digital communications, or related field
