Social Media Manager - Job Summary
Manage and coordinate social media and community activities for a major retail company in Alcobendas, Spain, supporting a high-visibility project and event from June to February with both strategic coordination and operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with company community and workshops strategy
- Coordinate with various local and international teams and areas
- Create communication content including newsletters, posts, surveys, contests, and scripts
- Plan, schedule, and manage workshops in coordination with retail stores
- Support and manage a major company event
- Propose collaborations with partners, brands, associations, and NGOs for workshop strategy
- Coordinate internal implementation of technological updates in the community platform
- Suggest actionable improvements aligned with the Annual Commercial Operations Plan
- Ensure quality user-generated content and foster cross-area synergies to enhance visibility
- Maintain positive user interactions and resolve community inquiries
- Implement participation strategies to maintain user motivation and engagement
- Curate and correct community content to maintain community health
- Monitor and analyze community and workshop results using tools like Piano, Skeepers, and NPS surveys
Requirements
- Excellent grammar and spelling with ability to write quickly, consistently, accurately, passionately, and creatively
- University degree in Journalism or Communication
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- High-level English for constant communication
- Experience with social media KPI measurement tools
- Teamwork, persuasion, negotiation, flexibility, analytical skills, communication and social skills
- Experience in public presentations in both Spanish and English
