Content & Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage content strategy, community engagement, and developer advocacy to grow and support a global community of privacy researchers, engineers, and early adopters using AI tools to enhance efficiency and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow engagement across Slack, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, and other platforms.
- Plan and execute multi-channel content calendars aligned with product and community initiatives.
- Write, edit, and repurpose content for various audiences and platforms.
- Coordinate with product and marketing teams to translate technical updates into community-friendly narratives.
- Monitor community conversations, respond promptly, and submit feedback to the team.
- Track and report engagement metrics, using data to improve strategies.
- Experiment with new formats and channels to increase reach and participation.
- Use AI tools to speed up research, writing, and reporting workflows.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years in community management, developer relations, software development, or content marketing.
- Strong writing skills for short- and long-form content across multiple platforms.
- Experience managing multi-channel content calendars in technical/developer spaces.
- Technical fluency to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable using AI to enhance content creation and quality.
- Effective and personable communication skills on Slack and on stage.
- Experience working in fully remote, distributed teams.
- Located in Eastern Time ±1 hr.
- Bonus: Background in open-source communities or contributions.
- Bonus: Skills in visual storytelling including video, memes, and visuals.
- Enjoy coding but prefer teaching and simplifying concepts.
- Have or know how to build an online presence.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and embrace experimentation.
