Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage day-to-day community operations across Telegram, Discord, and X to drive engagement, build culture, run events, support campaigns, and maintain a healthy community.
Key Responsibilities
- Run daily community engagement across Telegram and Discord; support growth on X
- Create and execute weekly content and event plans including prompts, polls, AMAs, giveaways, quests, and leaderboards
- Build community culture through tone, memes, rituals, and retention loops
- Identify and reward power users, VIPs, and advocates
- Moderate community to remove spam and scams, enforce rules, and manage bans, mutes, and warnings
- Set up and manage moderation workflows and incident response
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteer moderators
- Post and coordinate announcements about product updates, promotions, and tournaments
- Collaborate with Support, Risk, and Payments teams to resolve user issues and escalate serious cases
- Collect structured user feedback and report to Product and Growth teams
- Support brand presence on X through replies, engagement, and campaign coordination
- Maintain community operations tools such as calendars, pinned posts, FAQs, and bot automations
- Track and report community KPIs including active users, message volume, sentiment, retention, and event participation
Requirements
- 2+ years managing communities on Telegram and/or Discord in crypto, iGaming, fintech, or gaming
- Strong written communication with ability to match brand tone
- Comfortable moderating high-traffic chats and handling conflicts calmly
- Organized and reliable with ability to run calendars, workflows, and weekly plans
- Familiarity with community tools and bots such as MEE6, Dyno, Collab.Land
- Experience in crypto casinos, sportsbooks, or iGaming
- Experience working with KOLs/influencers and coordinating campaigns
- Basic analytics skills including dashboard use and KPI reporting
- Experience with event and community growth initiatives like quests, referral programs, and tournaments
