Social Media Growth and Community Manager - Job Summary

Manage and grow Sloomoo's social media presence and community engagement by developing strategies, creating content, and driving brand awareness across various platforms in alignment with company values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Set KPIs and growth targets to maximize acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Collaborate on visual and tone of voice guidelines consistent with brand and platform best practices.
  • Plan and execute engaging social-native content tied to marketing activations and cultural moments.
  • Partner with creative teams to produce high-quality content that drives community engagement and virality.
  • Manage daily content calendars to grow reach and engagement.
  • Leverage social media partnerships to expand audience and reinforce brand values.
  • Analyze monthly social media performance data to inform growth and content recommendations.
  • Stay informed on new platforms and updates and integrate them into Sloomoo's digital presence.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service on reviews, comments, and online community support.
  • Perform on-brand daily community management including posting, commenting, and interaction with followers and influencers.
  • Monitor and share user-generated content that aligns with brand guidelines.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in social media and content, including brand advocacy, campaign management, and community building.
  • Experience with content creation, planning, and publishing on major social platforms.
  • Proficiency with social media analytics and scheduling tools.
  • Knowledge of best practices for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritizing abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced, creative environment using data to optimize content.
  • Enthusiasm for brand mission and values with excellent interpersonal skills.

Education

BA/BS degree
