Community Manager - Job Summary

The Community Manager will foster vibrant and engaged online communities by engaging audiences, creating resonant content, and leveraging social media trends to enhance clients' brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with followers across social platforms by responding to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely and authentic manner
  • Develop and post social-first content including text, video, and graphics to drive engagement and build brand loyalty
  • Identify opportunities to grow audiences through influencer collaborations, community activations, and trend-driven content
  • Monitor conversations, trends, and brand sentiment to inform strategy and content direction
  • Stay ahead of social media trends, memes, and platform updates to maintain fresh and relevant content
  • Maintain brand voice, handle sensitive conversations, and escalate issues when necessary
  • Track engagement metrics, identify patterns, and provide recommendations to optimize community growth
  • Collaborate with strategy, content, and creative teams to align community efforts with campaign goals

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of experience in community management
  • Experience managing multiple channels such as TikTok, Instagram, X, Snap, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Reddit, etc.
  • Proven experience managing communities with a 100k following or larger
  • Experience in social media management, community building, content creation, or influencer marketing
  • Familiarity with social listening and management tools
  • Hands-on experience with content creation tools, especially for short-form video content
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms, engagement strategies, and performance metrics
  • Passion for social media and online communities with up-to-date knowledge of trends
  • Excellent copywriting skills adaptable to different brand voices
  • Strong analytical skills to review engagement metrics and inform strategies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and reactive environment

Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field preferred but not required
