Media, Communications, and Community Engagement Intern - Job Summary
The intern role provides structured, supervised experiences in media content production, communications, and community engagement to build professional skills while supporting school programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Support programs through supervised media and communications activities including content development, digital storytelling, branding, marketing, community engagement, public relations, event communications, and classroom media support
- Assist with planning, drafting, editing, production, scheduling, documentation, and analysis of media and communications projects
- Collaborate with staff to support student-centered media initiatives adhering to ethical standards, confidentiality, and institutional protocols
- Adjust responsibilities based on academic level, experience, and program requirements
Requirements
- Enrollment in or recent completion of academic program related to media, communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, journalism, digital media, education, or community engagement
- Professionalism, reliability, strong communication skills, and ability to follow directions and policies
- Preferred experience with media tools, writing, digital platforms, or community engagement depending on academic level
- Successful completion of required onboarding, training, and background clearance

High School Senior, Undergraduate, or Graduate level student
