Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads the studio's coaching team, delivering best-in-class fitness classes and customer experience while supporting studio operations and coach development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead coaching by maintaining a schedule of 11+ classes per week.
- Set examples and expectations for new and existing coaches.
- Deliver best-in-class fitness and customer service experiences.
- Meet utilization and retention goals individually and for the studio.
- Assist with day-to-day studio operations under Area Manager direction.
- Lead outreach and marketing to scout new clients and form community partnerships.
- Provide coach development through formal and informal feedback and support new coach trainings.
- Respond to client requests and resolve concerns promptly.
- Maintain product knowledge including class packages, promotions, and apparel.
- Execute routine operational tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory, and maintaining sales logs.
- Ensure studio and equipment are clean and fully functioning.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift/carry at least 30 pounds.
- Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets.
- 1-2 years of prior group fitness experience.
- Outgoing and personable with strong relationship-building skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude and genuine desire to inspire and motivate others.
- Comfortable leading fast-paced classes on a microphone with loud music.
