Community Manager - Job Summary
The Community Manager will manage founder outreach, support conversions, coordinate events, and ensure high-quality experiences, acting as a hybrid between community management and the founder’s office in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
- Reach out to potential founders and handle follow-ups
- Support full conversion cycle from first contact to onboarding
- Manage tools like Airtable, Apollo, Luma, Notion, and Slack and maintain records
- Plan and execute BFC events, including backend coordination and presence on event day
- Ensure every event touchpoint is intentional, smooth, and founder-first
- Support hospitality efforts including guest greeting, managing entry flow, handling special requests, and premium venue experience
- Coordinate with internal teams such as operations, content, and marketing
- Engage with existing members to maintain a high-quality community
- Support backend processes and playbooks for city expansion
Requirements
- 1-2 years experience in community, operations, hospitality, or founder-facing roles
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Well-organized and dependable in execution
- Attention to detail in user experience
- Comfortable using Apollo, Hubspot, Sales Navigator, Airtable, Notion, and Slack
- Enjoys both backend work and on-ground presence
- Willingness to travel for events and city launches
- Available to work on Saturdays during BFC events
- Good to have prior experience at startups, founder’s offices, or community-led brands
- Background in hospitality, premium events, or managing high-touch guest experiences
- Familiarity with early-stage founders and CRM tools
