Events and Community Manager - Job Summary
This individual contributor role manages Summize's full events calendar, influencer activations, and general counsel community, integrating events, content, and campaigns to contribute to sales pipeline growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute full FY27 events strategy and calendar including conferences, webinars, and hosted dinners
- Manage venue, logistics, vendor coordination, budget, attendee experience, and post-event follow-up
- Drive MQL generation and pipeline attribution in collaboration with Growth Marketing
- Manage sponsorship deliverables and regional field events budget to support sales
- Curate and manage events for in-house general counsel and legal influencers, including speaker pipeline management
- Identify, brief, and manage influencers for event participation and activation
- Build general counsel community through curated events and relationship management
- Write and produce event-specific content such as invitations, briefing packs, recaps, and social coverage
- Develop post-event nurture sequences and contribute event-led content insights to broader content calendar
Requirements
- 3-5+ years in B2B marketing with strong events ownership and full calendar management
- Background in content and campaigns with strong writing skills for event communications
- Ability to manage multiple event formats simultaneously with varied objectives and audiences
- Strong project management and commercial instincts including pipeline contribution tracking
- Experience collaborating with Sales on target accounts and event-driven pipeline programs
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills across senior stakeholders and agencies
