Community Manager - Job Summary

The Community Manager is the on-site leader responsible for creating a welcoming experience for students, parents, and teachers, driving studio growth, managing daily operations, and fostering a vibrant music community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the welcoming face of the studio during peak hours to ensure a great experience.
  • Act as primary contact for scheduling, policies, and studio events.
  • Plan and conduct community events and student concerts.
  • Manage new student inquiries and guide families through enrollment.
  • Use marketing systems to promote growth and enrollment.
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching of music teachers.
  • Foster a supportive and collaborative team environment.
  • Oversee daily studio operations including supplies and merchandise management.
  • Handle student payments and maintain accurate data.

Requirements

  • Passion for helping people and belief in the power of music.
  • Natural leadership and ability to build trust with a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication skills in person, phone, and writing.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles such as sales, hospitality, or customer service.
  • Comfortable with technology and new systems including proprietary software, Slack, and Google Workspace.
  • Willingness to work afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends.
