Community Manager - Job Summary
The Community Manager is the on-site leader responsible for creating a welcoming experience for students, parents, and teachers, driving studio growth, managing daily operations, and fostering a vibrant music community.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the welcoming face of the studio during peak hours to ensure a great experience.
- Act as primary contact for scheduling, policies, and studio events.
- Plan and conduct community events and student concerts.
- Manage new student inquiries and guide families through enrollment.
- Use marketing systems to promote growth and enrollment.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching of music teachers.
- Foster a supportive and collaborative team environment.
- Oversee daily studio operations including supplies and merchandise management.
- Handle student payments and maintain accurate data.
Requirements
- Passion for helping people and belief in the power of music.
- Natural leadership and ability to build trust with a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills in person, phone, and writing.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Experience in customer-facing roles such as sales, hospitality, or customer service.
- Comfortable with technology and new systems including proprietary software, Slack, and Google Workspace.
- Willingness to work afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends.
