Community Manager - Job Summary
The Community Manager role is to build and engage a trusted crypto algo trading community, supporting traders through online forums, content, events, and product feedback to foster active algo trading on Delta Exchange.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Online Community forums including structure, rituals, moderation, and daily engagement.
- Respond to queries, unblock traders, escalate bugs, and ensure all API questions are addressed.
- Identify and support power users and strategy builders through ambassador and early-access programs.
- Plan and execute offline meetups, hackathons, strategy competitions, and online AMAs, workshops, and guest sessions.
- Create educational content such as getting-started guides, API tutorials, strategy walkthroughs, and backtesting explainers.
- Maintain and improve documentation, sample code, and cookbooks.
- Collect and prioritize community feedback for product improvements.
- Monitor global developments in algo trading and relay insights to users and product roadmap.
- Define and monitor community performance metrics including active builders, deployed strategies, resolution times, and new-trader retention.
Requirements
- 1–3 years experience in community management, developer relations, growth, content, or trader-facing roles; exceptional candidates with deep algo trading knowledge may be considered.
- Strong understanding of algo trading concepts such as backtesting, slippage, and webhooks.
- Genuine enjoyment in engaging and conversing frequently with traders.
- Awareness of the algo trading landscape in India and globally.
- Strong written communication skills for tutorials, announcements, and product feedback.
- Comfortable with technical material like API documentation and coding explanations.
- Self-starter with strong ownership, able to handle ambiguity and willing to travel for events.
