Talent and Community Manager - Job Summary

The Talent and Community Manager will coordinate recruitment, manage fellow programming, plan events, and nurture partner relationships to support the success of early career professionals in the Indianapolis chapter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and build relationships with stakeholders at partner universities, including occasional travel to campuses
  • Collaborate with fellows and teammates to create and execute recruitment strategies
  • Manage candidate pipeline from sourcing to onboarding
  • Maintain a positive and compelling fellow culture during recruitment season
  • Onboard and integrate new fellows during their first months
  • Serve as a point of contact for fellows throughout their two-year experience
  • Assist and lead Fellow Leadership Team onboarding
  • Communicate with fellows to understand event requirements and manage related data
  • Support efforts to strengthen cohort community and assist fellows with partner company challenges
  • Coordinate logistics for events including venue, catering, materials, and communication within budget and timeline constraints
  • Support partner company experience and collaboration with Senior Director of Talent & Partnerships
  • Assist with onboarding new partner companies and sourcing program stories for marketing
  • Contribute to marketing efforts that enhance recruitment and program visibility
  • Perform additional duties as needed within a lean team
  • Attend some evening, weekend events, and travel as required

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Passion for early career talent development and supporting fellows
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Well-organized with ability to multi-task and manage projects
  • Experience in event planning, community building, or program coordination
  • Ability to handle stress, problem-solve, and remain calm
