Senior Fitness Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage and grow the Live 2 B Healthy fitness program by overseeing trainers, schedules, and community relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery for seniors.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage master class schedules across client locations
- Assign trainers and arrange qualified substitutes to avoid disruptions
- Ensure trainers are certified and compliant with standards; conduct site visits and observations
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new trainers; coordinate initial training
- Serve as primary contact for communities regarding class schedules and trainer assignments
- Monitor trainer performance and facilitate continuing education opportunities
- Serve as backup instructor to cover classes when necessary
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior community leaders and decision-makers
- Monitor program success and client satisfaction; resolve issues to ensure consistent service quality
Requirements
- Experience in fitness instruction, personal training, or group exercise management
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Confidence managing multiple trainers and community relationships
- Current nationally recognized fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, AFAA, or equivalent)
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Active insurance coverage
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Preferred: experience in senior fitness or working with older adults in senior living communities
- Preferred: experience in relationship development and management in senior living, healthcare, wellness, or fitness
- Preferred: experience with Mindbody platform for class schedule management
- Preferred: understanding of age-related conditions to tailor safe exercises
- Preferred: familiarity with fitness program management or franchise operations
