Community Marketing Manager - Job Summary
Manage and grow the artist community on the Figma Weave platform, nurturing engagement through events, collaborations, and support while gathering feedback to improve the product.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the community growth model including programming cadence, tier structures, and health metrics
- Manage daily activities on Discord including moderation, updates, events, and user feedback
- Plan and host activities such as challenges, workshops, and live sessions aligned with community and education programs
- Identify and support collaborations with schools, artists, and studios, coordinating co-branded sessions
- Maintain resource libraries, onboarding materials, and event follow-ups to support community members
- Work closely with community artists to support spotlight content, track participation, and celebrate contributions
- Capture and share community insights with product and marketing teams to inform roadmap and communications
Requirements
- 6+ years experience building and scaling engaged online communities, preferably in creative tech, design tools, or GenAI
- Hands-on expertise with Discord or similar platforms including channel structuring and moderation
- Excellent communication skills in English including writing and hosting conversations
- People-first and collaborative approach with ability to partner with marketing, product, and creative teams
- Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments
- Experience running community events and hosting workshops is a plus
