Social Media Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage social media and community engagement to build meaningful relationships and bring the California Bathrooms brand to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the daily voice on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms
- Respond authentically to comments, DMs, and mentions
- Foster relationships with homeowners, creators, designers, and local partners
- Turn customers and followers into brand advocates through engagement
- Collaborate with leadership on social voice and content strategy
- Plan, create, and publish human, fun, and intentional content
- Spot and adapt trends on-brand
- Communicate brand values like craftsmanship, sustainability, and community through content
- Bring future initiatives to life via social media
- Maintain a consistent, modern, premium, and approachable tone
- Track engagement, sentiment, and feedback
- Share insights to inform marketing and brand decisions
- Continuously test and refine social content strategies
Requirements
- 2+ years managing social media and/or online communities
- Strong skills in tone, storytelling, and cultural relevance
- Ability to create and iterate content quickly
- Interest in design, home, sustainability, and purpose-driven brands
- Excellent written communication with a natural, conversational voice
- Bonus: experience in lifestyle, DTC, hospitality, design, or mission-driven companies
