Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads studio coaching efforts by delivering best-in-class fitness classes, supporting coach development, and assisting in studio operations to help meet company goals and foster community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach an average of 11 classes per week as lead coach
- Set expectations and serve as a role model for new and existing coaches
- Deliver a high-quality fitness and customer service experience consistent with company standards
- Meet individual and studio utilization and retention goals
- Assist Area Manager with day-to-day studio operations
- Lead outreach and marketing efforts to scout new clients and build community partnerships
- Provide coach development by delivering feedback and supporting new coach trainings
- Respond to client requests and resolve concerns promptly
- Maintain product knowledge of studio retail operations
- Execute routine operational tasks like ordering supplies and maintaining inventory
- Ensure studio and equipment are clean and fully functioning
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Flexible and variable availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift/carry at least 30 pounds
- Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office (Excel and Google Sheets)
- Optimism and passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout
- Passion for helping others achieve fitness goals and developing teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment
- 1-2 years prior group fitness experience
- Outgoing and personable with team-building skills
- Reliable, professional, and able to lead fast-paced classes with energy
- Strong client relations and communication skills
