Cybersecurity Community Manager - Job Summary

The Cybersecurity Community Manager will grow and manage the cyber threat intelligence community while serving as a liaison between internal teams, external researchers, customers, and the wider security community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture an inclusive cyber threat intelligence community across multiple platforms including blogs, social media, and events.
  • Organize and host webinars and community calls with security experts and researchers.
  • Develop content strategies to share research findings and community highlights.
  • Partner with researchers to publish and promote security research on a regular basis.
  • Facilitate responsible disclosure processes and coordinate risk analysis with the security team.
  • Track emerging threats and trends to inform community content and discussions.
  • Own and manage the grants program supporting independent researchers, students, and reporters.
  • Monitor grant outcomes and promote successful projects within the community.
  • Collaborate with the Grants Administrator to ensure efficient program management.
  • Develop and manage a customer-facing program to educate and engage clients on best practices.
  • Create newsletters, research, and customer advisory resources tailored to customer needs.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to address concerns and share feedback.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in cybersecurity, community management, or program management.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscape, and research methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience managing grants or customer programs is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools such as WordPress, Reddit, GitHub, and community analytics platforms.
  • Preferred skills include background in security research or technical writing, experience with threat intelligence community, and ability to translate complex security topics into accessible content.
