Social Media Channel & Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage social media channels and community engagement for a culturally relevant brand, including content scheduling, copywriting, and proactive social participation.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube, managing the content calendar.
- Write creative, witty, and culturally fluent post copy that aligns with the brand voice.
- Engage with the community by responding to comments in a brand-reflective manner.
- Proactively monitor and participate in online conversations and trends relevant to the brand.
Requirements
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to adapt tone while maintaining brand identity.
- Deep knowledge and genuine passion for social media and internet culture.
- Strong understanding of brand identity and social content personality expression.
- Experience at a social media agency or in-house brand with a successful social presence.
- Ability to move quickly and stay culturally relevant with sharp engagement judgment.
- Hands-on experience with social media planning, publishing, and reporting tools.
- Ability to analyze social performance data and derive actionable insights.
- Comfortable and interested in using generative AI tools in daily work.
- Detail-oriented, organized, communicative, and able to manage social work processes efficiently.
