Content Director & Community Manager - Job Summary
Lead content creation, live coaching, marketing, community engagement, and cross-functional initiatives to enhance the user experience and scale Bellota Labs' poker training platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with coaches, editors, and project managers to produce and publish high-quality YouTube content
- Manage release schedule for premium training modules on the Upswing Poker platform
- Oversee scheduling and execution of live coaching webinars
- Collaborate with QA testers to ensure content accuracy and quality
- Partner with content and CRM teams for email marketing, sending 2+ emails weekly
- Track and report on marketing performance metrics
- Drive cross-functional projects like product features, UI enhancements, and course development
- Organize timelines, communications, and deliverables across departments
- Maintain and monitor Discord and Facebook communities to ensure positive player experience
- Manage affiliate relationships, review applications, and provide support
- Write strategic copy for marketing emails, product pages, social posts, and internal projects
- Continuously improve content workflows, engagement strategies, and growth experiments
- Handle escalated customer support tickets requiring poker knowledge
Requirements
- Deep understanding of poker strategy and player journey
- 3+ years of experience in content creation, marketing, or community management
- Strong writing skills for email and social media content
- Experience managing cross-functional projects or campaigns
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bonus: Familiarity with tools like Trello, Notion, or Asana
- Bonus: Experience with email marketing platforms like Keap, Mailchimp, or Klaviyo
