Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads classes, supports studio success, develops coaching staff, and helps execute studio operations and community outreach, ensuring a high-quality fitness and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach an average of eleven classes per week as the studio's lead coach
- Set standards and serve as an example for new and existing coaches
- Deliver a best-in-class fitness and customer service experience
- Meet company utilization and retention expectations individually and for the studio
- Assist Area Manager with day-to-day studio operations
- Lead outreach and marketing efforts to scout new clients and build community partnerships
- Provide coach development through feedback and supporting new coach trainings
- Respond to client requests and resolve concerns promptly
- Maintain product knowledge of retail operations including class packages and promotions
- Execute routine operational tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory, and maintaining sales logs
- Ensure studio and equipment are clean and fully functioning
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and variable schedules
- Ability to lift/carry a minimum of 30 pounds
- Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets
- Optimism and passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout
- Passionate about helping others achieve fitness goals and developing teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused, entrepreneurial environment
- 1-2 years prior group fitness experience
- Outgoing, personable, and team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Comfortable leading fast-paced classes with a microphone and loud music
- Superior client relations and communication skills
