Social Media Intern - Job Summary
Assist in managing IAAPA's social media accounts and engaging with the global community through content creation, social media management, and community-building efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with managing IAAPA's social media accounts including executing global campaigns and tracking progress
- Create and curate content for social media campaigns including graphics, photos, copywriting, and videos
- Edit video content for social platforms primarily Instagram and TikTok
- Monitor social media mentions, comments, and messages, responding timely
- Monitor member community portal for compliance with guidelines
- Support tracking social media performance and reporting metrics
- Collaborate with internal teams to align content with IAAPA’s messaging and objectives
Requirements
- Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or related field
- Knowledge of social media management tools such as Sprout Social or Hootsuite
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and engagement strategies
- Experience with graphic design/content creation tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic, creative, eager to learn in a global social media context
- Ability to work onsite in Orlando, FL
Education
Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or related field
