Director of Marketing - Job Summary

Lead the marketing, branding, communications, and community engagement efforts across multiple programs, developing and executing strategies to strengthen brand identity and support program growth and fundraising.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing, communications, and community engagement strategy aligned with organizational goals
  • Lead brand strategy initiatives and maintain unified brand voice across service lines
  • Develop and implement annual marketing and communications plans
  • Oversee website, social media, digital campaigns, print materials, and media relations
  • Collaborate with Lutheran Foundation on fundraising campaign messaging and support
  • Build and strengthen relationships with community organizations and stakeholders
  • Plan and oversee community events and outreach initiatives
  • Support recruitment marketing strategies and promote employer branding
  • Support internal communication to enhance employee engagement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
  • 5–10 years progressive experience in marketing, communications, or community engagement with increasing responsibility
  • Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience managing digital platforms including social media, website, and campaigns
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively
  • Preferred experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or fundraising sectors

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
