Director of Marketing - Job Summary
Lead the marketing, branding, communications, and community engagement efforts across multiple programs, developing and executing strategies to strengthen brand identity and support program growth and fundraising.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing, communications, and community engagement strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Lead brand strategy initiatives and maintain unified brand voice across service lines
- Develop and implement annual marketing and communications plans
- Oversee website, social media, digital campaigns, print materials, and media relations
- Collaborate with Lutheran Foundation on fundraising campaign messaging and support
- Build and strengthen relationships with community organizations and stakeholders
- Plan and oversee community events and outreach initiatives
- Support recruitment marketing strategies and promote employer branding
- Support internal communication to enhance employee engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
- 5–10 years progressive experience in marketing, communications, or community engagement with increasing responsibility
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience managing digital platforms including social media, website, and campaigns
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively
- Preferred experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or fundraising sectors
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
