Social Media Coordinator - Job Summary
Coordinate social media and community engagement efforts to grow Lori's Natural Foods' online presence and strengthen connections with the Rochester community, starting primarily in-person with potential for a hybrid schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute engaging social media content across multiple platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok
- Plan, create, and schedule content using a content calendar and social media management tools
- Monitor social media activity and engage with followers professionally
- Stay updated on social media trends and platform changes
- Capture photos and videos highlighting store, products, events, employees, and vendors
- Create email marketing campaigns and promotional emails
- Collaborate with leadership and external marketing consultants to promote initiatives and ensure branding consistency
- Track engagement metrics and recommend growth strategies
- Support community outreach through donations, sponsorships, partnerships, and events
- Strengthen relationships with customers, local organizations, farmers, and partners
- Assist with additional marketing and promotional projects as needed
Requirements
- Experience managing social media accounts for a business or organization
- Strong understanding of current social media trends and best practices
- Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and email marketing
- Experience using content scheduling or social media management platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative eye for photography, video, and storytelling
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Comfortable collaborating with internal teams and external marketing partners
- Community relations, public relations, nonprofit or donation coordination experience is a plus
- Graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe Express) is a plus
