Community Manager - Job Summary
The Community Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with the audience, manage social media channels, organize events, and act as the brand's voice to ensure a valued and connected community.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and moderate online community platforms including social media channels, forums, and discussion groups.
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies to increase participation and brand loyalty.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the community, addressing questions, feedback, and concerns.
- Organize and coordinate community events, webinars, and meetups to strengthen relationships and foster networking.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to relay community insights and feedback.
- Monitor community sentiment and report trends, challenges, and opportunities to leadership.
- Create and curate content that resonates with the community and reinforces brand values.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years experience in community management, social media, or customer engagement roles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for building and nurturing communities.
- Experience with social media platforms and community management tools.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Proactive, organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
