Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads and coaches an average of 13 classes per week while supporting studio success, providing coach development, and representing the [solidcore] brand and community.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the studio’s lead coach with a full schedule of 13+ classes per week
- Set expectations and serve as a role model for new and existing coaches
- Deliver best-in-class fitness and customer service experience consistent with company standards
- Meet utilization and retention goals individually and for the studio
- Assist with day-to-day studio operations as directed by the Area Manager
- Lead outreach and marketing to scout new clients and build community partnerships
- Provide coach development including feedback and support during new coach trainings
- Respond to client requests and resolve concerns promptly
- Maintain product knowledge of studio retail operations and promotions
- Perform routine operational tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory, and sales logs
- Ensure studio and equipment are impeccable and functional
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to work flexible and variable hours including weekends, holidays, and coach training schedules
- Capable of lifting and carrying at least 30 pounds
- Proficiency in g-Suite and MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets
- Optimism and passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout
- 1-2 years prior group fitness experience
- Outgoing, personable, and able to build relationships
- Team player with a positive attitude and professionalism
- Comfortable leading fast-paced classes with loud music using a microphone
- Ability to embody and promote the [solidcore] brand and culture
- Superior client relations and communication skills
- Reliable and motivated to inspire others
