Social Media Manager - Job Summary
Manage and grow the brand's Instagram, Facebook, and new X accounts, oversee content distribution and community engagement, and drive merch operations in an in-person office role.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow Instagram and Facebook accounts, launch and grow a new X account from zero with growth targets.
- Manage YouTube community by responding to comments, running polls, posting updates, and creating engagement strategies.
- Distribute content across platforms in native formats.
- Own the content calendar and posting cadence across all channels.
- Generate merch ideas, oversee merch store operations, and coordinate with web developer.
- Direct the graphic designer on social and brand graphics.
- Track analytics across platforms and iterate growth strategies.
- Use AI tools for content repurposing, scheduling, trend scouting.
- Be the public voice across captions and replies.
Requirements
- Proven social growth track record with evidence of actual numbers.
- Experience launching an account from zero is a bonus.
- Native fluency on Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube community and Shorts; TikTok is a plus.
- Community management skills to foster engagement and loyalty.
- Strong sense for short-form content including hooks and captions.
- Social copywriting skills.
- E-commerce/merch coordination experience (Shopify or similar) is a plus.
- Comfort directing designers and collaborating with developers.
- Fluency in AI scheduling, repurposing, and trend tools.
- Analytics-driven decision-making.
- Editorial alignment with pro-America commentary brand voice.
- Organized self-starter able to manage social functions end to end.
- Completion of a paid assignment including a 30-day growth plan and sample posts before hire.
- Proof of work required with links and metrics.
