Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads by example in delivering best-in-class fitness and customer service experiences, coaching approximately 11 classes per week, supporting studio operations, and developing the coaching team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the studio as the primary coach, coaching 11 classes per week.
- Set expectations and serve as a role model for new and existing coaches.
- Deliver a high-quality fitness and customer service experience aligned with company standards.
- Meet utilization and retention goals both individually and for the studio.
- Assist with daily studio operations under the direction of the Area Manager.
- Lead outreach and marketing to acquire new clients and build community partnerships.
- Provide coach development through feedback and support during new coach trainings.
- Respond promptly and effectively to client requests and concerns.
- Maintain product knowledge for studio retail operations.
- Handle operational tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory, and sales tracking.
- Ensure the studio and equipment are clean and fully functional.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and coach training schedules.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 30 pounds.
- Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets.
- Optimism and dedication to health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout.
- Passion for helping others achieve personal fitness goals.
- Strong relationship-building and team development skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-oriented environment.
- 1-2 years of prior group fitness experience.
- Outgoing and personable with community-building skills.
