Head Coach - Job Summary

The Head Coach leads by example in delivering best-in-class fitness and customer service experiences, coaching approximately 11 classes per week, supporting studio operations, and developing the coaching team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the studio as the primary coach, coaching 11 classes per week.
  • Set expectations and serve as a role model for new and existing coaches.
  • Deliver a high-quality fitness and customer service experience aligned with company standards.
  • Meet utilization and retention goals both individually and for the studio.
  • Assist with daily studio operations under the direction of the Area Manager.
  • Lead outreach and marketing to acquire new clients and build community partnerships.
  • Provide coach development through feedback and support during new coach trainings.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to client requests and concerns.
  • Maintain product knowledge for studio retail operations.
  • Handle operational tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory, and sales tracking.
  • Ensure the studio and equipment are clean and fully functional.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and coach training schedules.
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 30 pounds.
  • Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Optimism and dedication to health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout.
  • Passion for helping others achieve personal fitness goals.
  • Strong relationship-building and team development skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-oriented environment.
  • 1-2 years of prior group fitness experience.
  • Outgoing and personable with community-building skills.
  • Team player with a positive, professional attitude.
  • Comfortable leading energetic classes with a microphone.
  • Ability to embody the [solidcore] brand and culture.
  • Excellent client relations and communication skills.
