Social Media Community Manager - Job Summary

Manage and engage goodr's social media communities across platforms by responding to comments and messages, building community, monitoring social conversations, and collaborating with internal teams to drive brand growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the goodr tone across all social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Respond to every comment, DM, and inquiry with empathy, wit, and personality.
  • Build and engage the community daily through authentic interactions.
  • Lead social listening to track conversations and identify cultural moments and opportunities.
  • Translate social insights into viral community engagement.
  • Encourage user-generated content and fan participation.
  • Partner with marketing and customer service teams to engage top fans.
  • Track engagement, sentiment, and growth metrics and develop actionable strategies.
  • Build a scalable community management program.
  • Collaborate with creative, brand, and influencer teams for content and campaigns.
  • Stay current on social trends, new platforms, and community-building best practices.
  • Report directly to the Social Media Manager.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional social media experience managing brand accounts.
  • Strong social listening skills including tracking topics and untagged mentions.
  • Excellent brand-aligned communication and customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to remain calm during crisis and reputation management.
  • Strategic understanding of community building's impact on brand growth.
  • Working knowledge of social analytics platforms (e.g., Sprout, Dash Social).
  • Content creation and ideation skills.
  • Experience with influencer or creator partnerships is a plus.
  • Understanding of Paid Social strategies.
  • Organizational skills, detail-oriented, and multitasking ability.
  • Self-starter with strong prioritization and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive, independent problem solver.
  • Passion for the work and personal growth.
