Social & Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage and grow brand affinity across social channels by engaging communities, supporting content creation, amplifying influencers, monitoring trends, and reporting insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with followers through comments, DMs, and mentions, escalating customer service issues as needed
- Proactively engage with relevant content and cultural conversations to extend brand reach
- Write and edit captions adapting voice and tone per platform
- Contribute to monthly content calendars with reactive and trend-driven ideas
- Collaborate with creative and strategy teams to ensure resonant content
- Collect, curate, and track user-generated content and influencer content for brand use
- Monitor trends, platform changes, and cultural conversations to provide actionable insights
- Create engagement trackers and work with analytics to connect community activity to business outcomes
- Lead community management for United Collective's own channels
Requirements
- 2+ years of agency or brand-side community management experience
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Expert knowledge of social media platforms and curiosity about updates
- Strong writing skills with ability to flex tone across multiple brand voices
- Comfort using social listening, publishing, and analytics tools like Sprinklr, Sprout, or Brandwatch
- Sharp attention to detail and ability to quality assure own work
- Genuine interest in data and cultural insights with pattern-spotting ability
