Social Media Community Manager - Job Summary

Manage and grow goodr’s social media communities by engaging authentically across platforms, driving brand growth, and fostering a fun and connected brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own goodr’s tone and voice across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other platforms, responding to comments and inquiries with empathy and personality
  • Build and engage the community daily through authentic, memorable interactions
  • Lead social listening efforts to identify cultural moments and opportunities for engagement
  • Collaborate with social, marketing, and customer service teams to amplify brand community
  • Track engagement, sentiment, and growth metrics to inform strategies
  • Develop scalable community management programs to maintain fan engagement
  • Work cross-functionally with creative, brand, and influencer teams to support campaigns and partnerships
  • Stay current on social trends, new platforms, and community-building best practices
  • Report directly to the Social Media Manager
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 2+ years professional experience managing social media accounts for a brand
  • Expertise in social listening and tracking untagged mentions
  • Strong, brand-aligned communication skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to remain calm in crisis and reputation management situations
  • Strategic understanding of community impact on brand growth
  • Working knowledge of social analytics platforms like Sprout or Dash Social
  • Content creation and ideation skills
  • Experience with influencer or creator partnerships
  • Understanding of paid social media strategies
  • Organizational skills including multitasking and attention to detail
  • Self-starter with ability to prioritize and coordinate workflows
  • Team player who values feedback and personal growth
  • Proactive and able to independently solve problems
