Senior Fitness Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage and grow the Live 2 B Healthy fitness program across partner communities, overseeing trainers, class schedules, and relationships to ensure high-quality fitness experiences for seniors.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage master class schedules across client locations
- Assign trainers and arrange substitutes to prevent disruption
- Ensure trainers are certified and compliant with brand standards
- Conduct site visits, observe classes, and provide feedback
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new trainers
- Coordinate training and preparation for trainers
- Serve as primary contact for class communication and logistics
- Monitor trainer performance and facilitate continuing education
- Serve as backup instructor for classes when needed
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers at partner communities
- Monitor program success and client satisfaction, resolving issues promptly
Requirements
- Experience in fitness instruction, personal training, or group exercise management
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Confidence in managing multiple trainers and community relationships
- Current nationally recognized fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, AFAA, or equivalent)
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Active insurance
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Preferred: experience in senior fitness or working with older adults in senior living communities
- Preferred: experience in relationship development and management
- Preferred: experience with Mindbody platform, especially managing class schedules
- Preferred: understanding of age-related conditions for safe exercise tailoring
- Preferred: familiarity with fitness program management or franchise operations
