Social Media Manager - Job Summary
Manage and grow organic social media strategies across multiple platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth while leading a social media marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve organic social strategy focused on brand awareness growth
- Collaborate with internal teams to align social media with brand values and product positioning
- Create and manage monthly social media content calendars
- Oversee content creation ensuring high quality, compelling and authentic social content
- Identify and translate social media trends into brand-native content
- Maintain consistent and elevated brand presence adapted for each platform
- Create and implement testing strategies to meet KPIs
- Manage community building and engagement
- Identify and utilize emerging social tools and platforms
- Monitor and share consumer feedback to inform social and brand strategy
- Manage, mentor, and lead the social media team
- Collaborate with Influencer team to amplify brand storytelling
- Write and share organic social media KPI reports and performance analysis
Requirements
- 5+ years of social media management experience, preferably in beauty, skincare, or wellness
- Experience managing consumer-facing social media channels with 100,000+ followers
- Deep understanding of established and emerging social media platforms
- Disruptor mindset comfortable with experimentation
- Excellent communication skills to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
- Proven track record in creating engaging organic content
- Comfortable in front of and behind the camera
- Experience managing employees or external partners
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
