Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads studio classes, supports coach development, and drives studio success by delivering best-in-class fitness and customer service experiences while assisting with studio operations and community outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach an average of eleven classes per week as the studio’s lead coach
- Set examples and expectations for new and existing coaches
- Deliver best-in-class fitness and customer service consistent with company standards
- Meet company utilization and retention targets individually and for the studio
- Assist with day-to-day studio operations as directed by the Area Manager
- Lead outreach and marketing efforts to scout new clients and foster community partnerships
- Provide coach development and feedback, assist with new coach trainings
- Respond to client requests and resolve concerns promptly and effectively
- Maintain product knowledge for retail operations including class packages and promotions
- Execute routine operational tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory, and sales logs
- Ensure studio and equipment remain impeccable and fully functioning
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and coach training schedules
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds
- Proficiency in G Suite and MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets
- Optimism, hard work, and passion for health, fitness, and the workout
- Passion for helping others achieve their goals and developing teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused entrepreneurial environment
- 1-2 years of prior group fitness experience
- Outgoing and personable with relationship-building skills
- Team player with a positive attitude and genuine desire to inspire others
- Comfortable leading classes with loud music and high energy
- Ability to model the company brand and culture
- Superior client relations and communication skills
- Reliable and professional
