Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads classes, supports studio success, and develops coaching staff to deliver a top-tier fitness experience while maintaining operational standards and community outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach an average of 11 classes per week and serve as lead coach for the studio
- Set expectations and serve as a role model for new and existing coaches
- Deliver a best-in-class fitness and customer service experience
- Meet company utilization and retention goals for the individual and studio
- Assist with day-to-day studio operations as directed by the Area Manager
- Lead outreach and marketing efforts to scout new clients and build community partnerships
- Provide coach development through feedback and support during new coach trainings
- Respond promptly to client requests and resolve concerns
- Maintain product knowledge of studio retail operations including promotions and apparel
- Execute routine operational tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory, and sales logs
- Ensure studio and equipment are clean and fully functioning
- Perform other assigned duties and projects as needed
Requirements
- Passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout
- Ability to coach and motivate others, building relationships and fostering team growth
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused, entrepreneurial environment
- 1-2 years of prior group fitness experience
- Outgoing and personable with strong communication and client relations skills
- Comfortable leading fast-paced classes with loud music and high energy
- Proficient in g-Suite and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets
- Ability to lift/carry at least 30 pounds
- Reliable, professional, and a positive team player
- Ability to model and represent the [solidcore] brand and culture
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
