Marketing & Community Engagement Intern - Job Summary

This internship provides hands-on experience in marketing and community engagement while supporting various marketing and outreach efforts to promote Blackfoot's telecommunications services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams including Product, Marketing, and Sales to develop marketing assets
  • Write and schedule social media content supporting consistent messaging and branding
  • Assist in preparing materials for digital and print advertising placements
  • Plan and execute community events, sponsorships, and outreach activities; represent the company externally as appropriate
  • Provide administrative and project support such as tracking assets, maintaining folders, and campaign documentation
  • Perform additional tasks to support marketing goals

Requirements

  • Knowledge of basic business and consumer marketing concepts and channels
  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram
  • Willingness to learn marketing tools and technologies
  • Basic time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Editing and proofreading skills to maintain brand standards
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills
  • Represent the company professionally at internal and external activities
  • Maintain a valid Montana driver’s license and clean driving record meeting insurance requirements
