Marketing & Community Engagement Intern - Job Summary
This internship provides hands-on experience in marketing and community engagement while supporting various marketing and outreach efforts to promote Blackfoot's telecommunications services.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams including Product, Marketing, and Sales to develop marketing assets
- Write and schedule social media content supporting consistent messaging and branding
- Assist in preparing materials for digital and print advertising placements
- Plan and execute community events, sponsorships, and outreach activities; represent the company externally as appropriate
- Provide administrative and project support such as tracking assets, maintaining folders, and campaign documentation
- Perform additional tasks to support marketing goals
Requirements
- Knowledge of basic business and consumer marketing concepts and channels
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram
- Willingness to learn marketing tools and technologies
- Basic time management and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Editing and proofreading skills to maintain brand standards
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Creativity and problem-solving skills
- Represent the company professionally at internal and external activities
- Maintain a valid Montana driver’s license and clean driving record meeting insurance requirements
