Marketing & Community Engagement Manager - Job Summary
Manage marketing and community engagement by creating content, building partnerships, planning events, and promoting the brand across bakery locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging social media content for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Capture photos and videos in and around bakeries
- Produce Reels and Stories, schedule and publish content
- Monitor social media engagement and track performance
- Develop partnerships with schools, nonprofits, hospitals, and local businesses
- Coordinate fundraising and community events
- Represent bakeries at Chamber of Commerce and similar events
- Plan grand openings, bakery birthdays, and celebrations
- Identify new marketing opportunities within bakery territories
- Develop monthly marketing calendars and special campaigns
- Coordinate seasonal promotions and assist with corporate/catering marketing
- Brainstorm ways to increase guest engagement
- Share brand stories highlighting team, guest celebrations, partnerships, milestones, and behind-the-scenes moments
Requirements
- Naturally creative and a self-starter
- Outgoing, personable, organized, and dependable
- Comfortable taking photos and videos
- Strong writing skills
- Passionate about supporting local businesses
- Experience or interest in marketing, public relations, communications, hospitality, event planning, community relations, or social media management
- Familiarity with Canva, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and short-form video creation preferred
