Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads studio classes averaging 11 per week, models exceptional coaching qualities, supports studio operations, coach development, and contributes to community outreach and marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as lead coach maintaining a full schedule of 11 classes per week
- Set expectations and serve as an example for new and existing coaches
- Deliver best-in-class fitness and customer service experience
- Meet individual and studio utilization and retention goals
- Assist with day-to-day studio operations as directed by Area Manager
- Lead outreach and marketing efforts to develop new client relationships
- Provide coach development including feedback and in-person training support
- Respond promptly and effectively to client requests and concerns
- Maintain product knowledge for studio retail operations
- Execute operational tasks such as ordering supplies and inventory management
- Ensure studio and equipment are always clean and fully functioning
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- Permanent, exempt, full-time with approximately 40 hours per week including coached classes
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift/carry at least 30 pounds
- Proficiency with G-Suite and MS Office applications
- Optimistic and hardworking with passion for health and fitness
- Passion for helping others achieve goals and build strong relationships
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment
- 1-2 years prior group fitness experience
- Outgoing and personable with strong communication skills
- Team player with positive attitude and professionalism
- Comfortable leading fast-paced classes with energetic atmosphere
- Ability to model brand culture and represent the community
