Assistant Community Manager - Job Summary
The Assistant Community Manager supports the smooth daily operations and facility management of a location, focusing on delivering excellent member experiences through community events, partnerships, and sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with members and proactively understand their needs
- Solve member-related issues to foster a collaborative community
- Identify opportunities to help members achieve their goals
- Deliver a personalised, high-quality member experience
- Make recommendations to improve overall member experience
- Handle membership sales, package negotiations, and deal closures
- Mentor Community Associates and junior staff on conducting high-quality tours
- Attend internal and external events representing the location
- Manage sales pipeline and deal flow
- Organise member onboarding and move ins/outs
- Handle basic finance tasks such as petty cash and invoicing
- Order pantry supplies timely
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the space
- Coordinate with the design team for space improvements
- Conduct quality control checks and resolve issues immediately
- Collaborate with Events team to plan and organise community events
- Drive partnerships across different industries
- Coordinate with Art Department for event collateral production
- Maintain updated event calendars and notice boards
- Capture images for social media and create engaging content
- Ensure timely promotion of events
Requirements
- Outstanding confidence and strong networking skills
- Passion for and understanding of the Hive’s mission and values
- Curiosity about entrepreneurial communities and startups
- Demonstrated integrity, dependability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy
- Strong sense of teamwork, accountability, mindfulness, and willingness to go extra mile
- 2+ years experience in customer service, sales, events, or related industries
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills
- Ability to handle pressure and think quickly
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Fluency in English and Thai; additional languages are a plus
Education
University degree is an advantage but not mandatory
