Community Manager - Job Summary

The Community Manager will oversee community operations for multiple projects, balancing live player communities, legacy titles, and in-development projects while coordinating player feedback with development teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage official community channels (Discord, forums, social platforms) across multiple projects.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between player communities and internal development teams.
  • Track, organize, and contextualize player feedback, sentiment, and reported issues per project.
  • Coordinate with QA and production to support testing, updates, releases, and post-release communication.
  • Adapt messaging style based on project lifecycle, platform, and audience expectations.
  • Support announcements, patches, events, and updates with clear and accurate communication.
  • Help establish and uphold community guidelines, moderation standards, and escalation paths.
  • Represent the studio with professionalism and understanding of development realities.

Requirements

  • Strong familiarity with ARK and its player community.
  • Proven experience managing game communities for live or in-development titles.
  • Ability to manage multiple products or communities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written communication skills and sound judgment on information sharing.
  • Ability to work onsite in Colorado on a hybrid schedule.
