Community Engagement Intern - Job Summary
The Community Engagement intern supports outreach strategies to build relationships with community organizations, government entities, and institutions to promote TerraCycle's recycling programs, working collaboratively with client-facing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing ideas convincingly for a wide range of clients
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure client deliverables
- Support development of client-ready marketing, communications, and sustainability recommendations
Requirements
- Commit to minimum 16 hours per week
- Ability to work fully remote if outside NJ/Metro Philly/NYC area
- Intermediate skills in Google Suite
- Strong research skills on competitors, partners, and business opportunities
- High effectiveness in written, oral, and digital communication
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; pursuing degree in Environmental Studies, Public Policy, Political Science, Communication, Sustainability or related field preferred
