Community Engagement Officer - Job Summary
The role involves raising awareness of Carefound Home Care in local communities, building relationships with partner organisations, and supporting client growth and staff recruitment through community engagement and digital communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop relationships in the local community and maintain a pipeline of opportunities by growing and leveraging the network
- Network face to face, by phone, email, and video call with local groups, charities, healthcare professionals, community organisations, and other potential referral providers
- Deliver promotional activities both face to face and virtually to increase awareness of care services and job opportunities
- Build relationships with key referral providers, meet agreed targets, and have regular touchpoints to drive client enquiries and job applications
- Plan and execute community marketing events including fairs, exhibitions, and recruitment events
- Work with the central marketing team to coordinate social media activity and keep digital content up to date
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the brand and raise awareness of marketing campaigns and recruitment initiatives locally
- Track and record communications in the CRM to manage and adjust community engagement strategy
- Work flexibly with the branch care management team to support delivery of outstanding care
Requirements
- Proven track record in building strong relationships both face to face and virtually within a local community
- Previous experience in home care or a regulated service environment desirable
- Confident networking via face to face, phone, email, and video call
- Confident delivering presentations on ageing subjects such as dementia
- Good understanding of marketing principles and experience with a range of marketing and communication approaches including digital media
- Proficient in Microsoft, CRM, and other marketing software, with ability to learn new technologies
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
- Warm, patient, compassionate, emotionally resilient, and calm under pressure
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Commitment to high standards of care and support
- Valid driving licence and own car
