Operations Area Manager - Job Summary

The Operations Area Manager will oversee Medicaid program implementation and management, support Community Engagement Specialists and Leads in running the Connect For Life program, and ensure program compliance and engagement across Michigan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage Medicaid programs according to leadership guidance
  • Develop, implement, and maintain documentation to support daily operations
  • Manage a team of field operators ensuring compliance with Medicaid contracts
  • Support Community Engagement Specialists and Leads with the Connect For Life program using company curriculum
  • Organize onboarding and training for Community Engagement Specialists and Leads
  • Plan and host virtual and in-person events to foster relationships and wellness among members
  • Engage with members to encourage participation and track monthly engagement
  • Record interaction details with members digitally
  • Identify and develop Wider Circle Ambassadors among members
  • Connect prospective members to the Connect For Life program with individualized plans
  • Serve as liaison between members and health plans
  • Create partnerships with community-based organizations to enhance member services
  • Monitor and ensure achievement of membership engagement and growth goals
  • Provide first-line support to field team for scheduling, event needs, and technical issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in management, healthcare-related field, or equivalent experience
  • 4-5 years of operations and management experience within a healthcare setting
  • Medicare experience is a plus
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
  • Exceptional working knowledge of GSuite and Salesforce

Education

Bachelor's degree in management, healthcare-related field, or equivalent experience
