Social Media Manager - Job Summary
Manage and grow the company's organic social media presence across multiple platforms by creating content, engaging with the community, and supporting influencer and brand collaborations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and schedule organic posts aligned with brand voice and calendar
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and tags across platforms
- Engage with the community in real-time to build trust and loyalty
- Research and manage relationships with micro and macro influencers
- Coordinate giveaways, reposts, and brand features
- Engage with users, hashtags, and communities to enhance visibility and reach
- Use platform insights to optimize content timing and strategy
- Track engagement metrics and content performance, providing reports and insights
- Stay updated on social media trends, challenges, and platform changes
Requirements
- 1–3 years experience managing social media for brands or public figures
- Strong understanding of organic growth strategies
- Excellent written communication and grammar
- Good eye for visual aesthetics, tone, and brand alignment
- Experience using Later, Hootsuite, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite
- Ability to multitask and adapt to platform updates and trends
- Bonus: Canva, basic video editing, or influencer outreach experience
- Creative mindset with a sense of humor
- Passion for building community and conversations
- Data-driven but people-first approach
