Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads the studio's coaching team by delivering best-in-class fitness classes, supporting studio operations, and fostering coach development to drive the studio's success and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach an average of 11 classes per week as the lead studio coach
- Set standards and serve as a role model for new and existing coaches
- Deliver a best-in-class fitness and customer service experience
- Meet company utilization and retention targets individually and for the studio
- Assist the Area Manager with day-to-day studio operations
- Lead outreach and marketing efforts to scout new clients and build community partnerships
- Provide feedback and development support to coaching team, including new coach trainings
- Respond promptly and effectively to client requests and concerns
- Maintain product knowledge of retail operations including class packages, promotions, and apparel
- Perform routine operational tasks such as ordering supplies, conducting inventory, and maintaining sales logs
- Ensure studio and equipment are clean and fully functional
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- Flexible and variable availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift/carry at least 30 pounds
- Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets
- Optimism and passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout
- Passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals
- Strong relationship building and team development skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment
- 1-2 years prior group fitness coaching experience
- Outgoing, personable, and team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Comfortable leading high-energy classes with loud music
- Excellent client relations and communication skills
