Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads the studio's coaching team, delivering high-quality fitness classes and supporting studio success through coaching, team development, and studio operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach an average of 11 fitness classes per week as the studio's lead coach
- Set expectations and serve as a role model for new and existing coaches
- Deliver a best-in-class fitness and customer service experience
- Meet individual and studio utilization and retention goals
- Support day-to-day studio operations and take direction from the Area Manager
- Lead outreach and marketing efforts to attract new clients and build community partnerships
- Provide coach development through feedback and assist with new coach trainings
- Respond to client requests and resolve concerns effectively
- Maintain product knowledge for studio retail operations
- Execute operational tasks including ordering supplies, inventory, and sales logs
- Ensure studio and equipment are clean and fully functioning
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift/carry at least 30 pounds
- Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets
- Optimism and passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout
- 1-2 years group fitness coaching experience
- Passion for building relationships and developing teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment
- Outgoing and personable with strong client communication skills
- Comfortable leading classes on a microphone with loud music
- Reliable, professional, and a positive team player
