Community Engagement Specialist - Job Summary
The Community Engagement Specialist will manage Sunlighten’s online presence and customer engagement, overseeing review sites, social channels, and advocacy programs to build brand loyalty and customer trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Own reputation strategy and monitoring across review sites and external communities
- Manage and moderate the Facebook customer community including goals and growth
- Handle inbound direct messages and comments across multiple social media platforms
- Execute and monitor customer and employee referral programs with accurate tracking
- Identify and nurture brand advocates and source customer stories and testimonials
- Build a monthly Voice of Customer digest with insights for marketing and cross-functional teams
- Share sentiment trends and product feedback with relevant departments
- Collaborate with Customer Care to document cases surfaced through social and review channels
Requirements
- 2+ years in community management or social media, ideally at DTC or considered-purchase brands
- 1+ year managing online reviews and reputation (e.g., Trustpilot, Google, BBB)
- 1+ year supporting referral, advocacy, or loyalty programs
- Strong written communication and copywriting skills
- Comfortable with social management tools such as Sprout Social
- Ability to summarize feedback into clear insights
- Strong attention to detail and time management
