Community Manager - Job Summary

The Northeast Community Manager supports and enables community builders to lead and create welcoming experiences for young adult Jewish communities. This role involves recruitment, mentoring, tracking progress, and developing deep regional community knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor and manage House and Pod residents to develop meaningful programs and strong communities.
  • Recruit new residents for Moishe Houses and Pods through networking and relationship building.
  • Maintain and develop individual relationships with community members through remote and in-person interactions.
  • Track KPI metrics related to community engagement and program success.
  • Manage financial data and administrative tasks supporting community builders' gatherings.
  • Evaluate risk factors and create mitigation plans.
  • Lead and facilitate special projects and sessions at conferences or retreats based on departmental needs.
  • Support strategic planning and project management across multiple concurrent initiatives.

  • Knowledge or willingness to learn Salesforce and Monday.com.
  • Ability to work without employer sponsorship in the United States.
  • Familiarity with Mem Global as staff, resident, host, or community member preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or four additional years of work experience
