Social Media Community Manager - Job Summary

Manage and grow the brand's online presence across social media platforms by creating content, engaging with the community, and developing effective strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions professionally and timely
  • Engage with followers to build a loyal community and foster connections
  • Identify and nurture relationships with influencers, brand advocates, and collaborators
  • Collaborate with content team to develop and schedule posts aligned with brand voice and objectives
  • Create and curate visually appealing content including graphics, photos, and videos
  • Develop and execute social media campaigns aligned with marketing goals
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics
  • Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging tools
  • Identify and address potential PR issues or negative feedback proactively
  • Work with internal teams to craft responses to sensitive topics
  • Partner with marketing, sales, and customer service teams for unified messaging
  • Coordinate with design and content teams for campaign creative assets

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (SEMrush, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer)
  • Experience with basic graphic design and video editing tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Analytical mindset for interpreting data and making decisions
  • Creative thinker skilled in identifying trends and producing engaging content
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Preferred: experience in community management or customer service
  • Preferred: knowledge of SEO principles and content marketing strategies
  • Preferred: familiarity with social media advertising and paid campaigns
