Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage social media and community engagement for Brick Me, overseeing strategy and execution to enhance brand presence and customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest including content strategy, calendar planning, copywriting, scheduling, and performance tracking.
- Respond to comments and DMs, engage in brand-relevant conversations on social platforms and Reddit, and escalate feedback to customer service.
- Oversee influencer marketing including managing collaborations, negotiating terms, briefing creators, and enforcing brand guidelines.
- Curate user-generated content and direct designers to produce content for organic and paid social media ads.
- Pitch and maintain relationships with publications, blogs, and websites for digital PR to feature Brick Me.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience managing social and community for consumer brands, preferably DTC ecommerce.
- Experience with Reddit and hands-on management of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.
- Excellent written English and strong communication skills as brand voice.
- Proven influencer outreach and digital PR experience beyond basic social posting.
- Strategic thinker capable of effective execution.
- Self-starter with proactive ideas.
- Passion for brand-building; interest in design, craft, gifting, or personalized products is a plus.
- Minimum 70% overlap with Australian time zones for collaboration.
